So, a little while back, a collector asked me if I’d be interested in customizing a Coarsetoys jaws figure, to which I instantly responded “F- yeah!”. I can’t say I’ve ever seen a custom Jaws, except for the one coarsetoys itself has done.
I would guess this is mainly due to the cost of the figure itself, which is no $25 munny. So, the pressure was really on to make this piece count as one of very few customs of it’s kind. I would love to do more of these. It;s a really great platform with tons of options, and I nice, lean, break from the chubby little Kidrobot figures I’ve been doing so much of!
true to my fantasy form, I decided to go with a Dragon slaying knight, originally, he was going to be a little less dark, but as I went along, I realize how well the design lended itself to a darker, more brooding character. So I decided to make him a total badass, with a possessed sword and the savage powers of a dragon burning inside of him. Here come, many, many pics:
The sword slides in and out of the back holster nicely.
The Mask attaches to magnetic ear piercings on both sides of his head. holds on quite well actually. 
Hopefully I’ll get a chance to do another one of these very soon!
Very nice. Its a shame i just sold my Jaws figure and shipped it to Germany. Cant wait to see what you start working on next.
