Ravenwing Slayer

January 24th, 2011

Recently finished my FOURTH Jaws “Slayer” custom for a collector in China. Really pleased with how the design turned out, I feel like the modified pose is simple but very effective. I actually made my own metallic flake paint for this one, and gave it a slight marble effect that really sings when you look at it in person.

Raven wing slayer custom Jaws

“The Ravenwing slayer is an angel of death itself, a harvester of souls. Descended from an ancient order of warriors, they possess dark Majiks long forgotten, living by an ancient codex believed to have never been written. With armor carved of Shadow stone, and wearing the skull crown of the Slain Draillian. They are the last line of defense to the Obsidian Citadel, living as gargoyles perched around the top of the highest spire, looking down in silent resolution for their moment to reap their toll.”

This is truly amazing, from the detail in the wings to the amazing chnges to the shark head helmet , I have the regular Coarse toys piece and what you transfoem them into is incredible. I wish you the best of luck at your show, I think you will be a huge hit without a doubt. To take some of those boring “munnys” and to see what you transform them into, like I said before, I have seen the results from a lot of “Customs Shows” at other Gallery’s with some of the biggest names in the business and you are going to shock and wake a lot of people up as to what true imagination and real creativity is! One word Amazing!
