Just finished my second Jaws commission. The collector requested to be similar to my previous “Slayer” type figure but not as evil, so I tried to take the concept in a little different direction while still keeping some of my favorite elements in there.
I call this guy “Thunderhead Drallian Slayer” A warrior enchanted with the lightning powers of the Thunderhead breed of Drallian.

I love making removable magnetic masks for these guys:

The sickles also have magnetic chains, so they can be linked together, draped around his neck, or separated.

I’ll be working on a few more Coarsetoys figures coming up, and I’m so excited to be working on these figures! it’s such a cool platform, and it’s an honor to be trusted to mess up a $250+ piece of vinyl!
I’m getting super booked up through the rest of the year, but may have some limited availability for commissions here and there, for inquiries, please shoot me an email at Josh (at symbol) fplusnever.com
Also, if you;re looking for more instant gratification, I just put up a few of my newest pieces in my online shop here: fplus.bigcartel.com
“In the darkness, branches and leaves rustle regularly, as the forest inhabitants scurry around beneath the night’s black veil. This is not something to give much fear to if you’re in the forest of the Ya’ ak Muhl, But dead silence, that is something you should be terrified of. The Night threshers make silence, dead silence.”
This was a commission I couldn’t wait to get my hands on! My second coarsetoys figure to custom, first being the JAWS I did here

The rider comes off:

So does the mask. I didn’t want to have to cut up the original face.:

This figure was soooo fun to work on! I sure hope I do another one someday, I even have a design for it already! If you’d like to commission it, or anything else, Please email me Josh (at) fplusnever.com . I’m taking on very limited commissions for the next couple months as I’m relocating the f+ HQ back to Oregon! Commissions will be handled on a first come, first serve basis.
Well, I’m still insane busy, now more than ever I’d say. The pieces for the show are coming along slowly yet surely, I want to thank everyone for their inquiries and for getting excited about this world I’m creating! It really reinforces that I am going in the right direction with my work.
I’ll be posting some sneak peaks very soon, but for now I thought I’d share a recently completed commission, seeing as how much everyone love my last mandarins!
I was asked to do another, and the collector was kind enough to allow me to make an eviler, darker Dunny this time. So it came to be called “The Black Mandarin warlord”

This one was just as fun to make as the first two. I wanted to push him a little more, but not make him completely different, so I pulled a little more of a “dragon feel” out of the design, and sharpened him up a it in places. Also, decided to go with a traditional Chinese ring sword with a dragon sculpted onto the blade.

the symbol on his head is “guey kuay” which is chinese for an evil demon or devil.

and a few pics of the menacing dunny on a beautiful Arizona day:

Got a couple more spawn related pieces I’m stoked about and will be posting soon, I’m definitely going to be earning a christmas vacation this year!
more very soon…..
